I'm thinking that I am not going to take it. I just started radiation last week. Reading everything thing I can about taking theses drugs before my appointment with the oncologist after the radiation is done. I'll be 80 soon and can't see how all the risks and side effects will help me in the next 10 years. My GP has encouraged me to try, but I don't think I am willing to risk bone loss and joint pain, and the other more serious side effects.

@keywestsj Id agree with you - I’m 62- very low risk of reoccurrence and the side effects for me were pretty bad. I stuck with AIs a little over 2+ yrs joint aches and sleep issues. I may go back on after the holidays but for now, my joints feel like 62 not 100. Bless you.
