@iansmommy1, it sounds like you took the right steps to seek an appointment at Mayo Clinic. It's hard to get that denial letter. As you can imagine, Mayo Clinic gets more requests than there are available appointments.

You may wish to ask your primary care doctor to submit a referral if they believe Mayo Clinic is a good option for you.

You may also wish to look into the Mayo Clinic Care Network to find care closer to home that benefits from Mayo Clinic expertise.
