What are the benefits of L-Theonine?

Does L-Theonine help anyone for sleep and anxiety?

Did not help me. I mean, very little helps me since my brain is in overactive mode in the best of times , not to mention high stress periods. I take Valerian supplement in combination with melatonin and magnesium - some nights this combo helps. Some nights nothing helps. I have no trouble falling asleep but I wake up after first 4 hours of sleep (which is around 5 am ) and than I have trouble going back to sleep . I suddenly remember the "worry of the day" and it is over. Sometimes I fall back to sleep around 7 am and catch some more zzzzs till 9. BUT, it is what it is ...

Otto Korrect: L-Theanine, an amino acid. Only one notice of potential trouble with a chemotherapeutic agent. I believe it was for a chemical used in other cancers. Always check with medical oncologist (MO).
