Anybody have hernia surgery while on Orgovyx?
I got off six months of Orgovyx on Oct 1. I had an incisional hernia repaired on 10/8. It was one one of the incisions from my RP . ( mar.20) . I am pretty sure the lack of testosterone is compromising my muscle repair, but I had to get that thing fixed.Has anybody had any experieenc with this?

The results may vary. I was on Lupron for two years when I had my knee replaced. Recovered completely within six months, even though I had done no exercises of any sort for two years. Did a lot of exercises for knee PT.
I was on Lupron for seven years when I had my left knee replaced. Took 1.25 years to get back to normal. At that point, I started to go to the gym three days a week to rebuild my muscles. It has worked.

3 ReactionsI had hernia surgery about three months after getting off of Orgovyx. My testosterone level had rebounded to low normal by then.
@tjv1156, how is recovery going?
Slow but sure.
I went off the Orgovyx Oct 1. Then had hernia surgery Oct 8th. So I haven't really been able to exercise like I'd like, to gain back some of the muscle I lost during the ADT regimen. But I can walk and do some light resistance exercises . Better than nothing. The hot flashes are still there but seem to be diminishing. Same with fatigue-still a problem but getting better. Libido is slowly starting to come back. ( Hey, I'm almost 70- it's realtive...lol) Thank you for asking.
I had surgery last week that is similar to hernia surgery. I did not stop or Orgovyx or Nubeqa.
I had knee replacement surgery and hip surgery in the last two years and did not stop ADT. That’s not the essential thing when it comes to healing.
