I am sorry to hear of you headache for FIVE years! Bless your heart, but I do not want to copy you!
This weird headache of mine started in April, this year. I gave it a little time to go away, but it did not. Then, I went to several Doctors and walked out the door every time with no no success. The pressure has been moving down my head like a warning. There is a distinct change in my thinking and response. More doctors, then out of desperation, not knowing any better, I went to the Hospital. Bad idea. I think now it is a rule at least for me, to know what is wrong, and then go get it fixed, or stay home! I had a CT scan, and an MRI with absolutely no hint of what is going wrong. I have another Neuro appointment the end of November because I still have a little hope. I cannot think like I used to, and my head hurts all the time. Just saying this , since misery likes company!

@fala I have been dealing with something similar. Have you noticed any correlation with your activity, what you eat or wjat youre doing? Mine started beginning of September. Initially felt like a haze, brain fog, sleep inertia that never went away. Turned into a pressure in forehead area. It has been persistent, everyday all day but comes in waves. Usually going from 2 to a 7 and anywhere in between. Not painful, but it brings crashing waves of, whats best described as anxiety. Cant sit still, I pace miles a day. Reduced sensation over whole body, cold and numb fingers, insomnia, loss of appetite, lost 15+lbs the first month. Its like a constant physical feeling of dread and fear. I cant drive and cant work, struggle to concentrate or sit still at all, let alone be able to sit and read or watch tv. Mri clear, ct of sinus is pending, all panels and other tests clear. Even went to dentist to check that box, teeth are perfect. Was prescribed sumatripan, it didnt seem to have any effect. Neurologist wants me to try prednisone, so i will be giving it a try. My last trip to urgent care they gave me toradol, anti inflammatory. I started feeling better by the time I left so I bought some 800mg ibuprofen and have continued to find some relief, never back to normal, but close enough that I can eat and sit still for more than a minute. It still spikes occasionally and is still always present, but much better than I was a month ago.

@fala
Neurologist refer me to Immunologist (Allergy/Immunology). I had a very productive 1st appointment. I keep notes on Symptoms, Current and Previous medications, previous health issues - no sleep history from smart watch, Family history, etc. She requested Lab work (Blood test) for some new things I had not heard before (I can't remember what they were right now). She mentioned that she would need to refer me to another Immunologist for deeper insight. Keep moving forward.

It’s a journey, Best Wishes for Your Journey!
