That's great to hear Annie, I'm 78 and having a single masectomy in January. I thought about a double, but decided 'if it ain't broke don't try to fix it'. The cancer is gone and I feel great and ready to pursue my passions in life.

Hi. So glad you're not having a double. I had 2 drain tubes, maybe because of the lymph nodes that were removed, but I wouldn't want 4 to deal with. Plus, my surgeon said that there's too great a risk for infection and I certainly did not want to deal with that. I love going "braless" around the house, but have to wear a bra with closer fitting clothes. That's OK!!! I have a wonderful insert. My bras have the pocket behind the cup. I go to the Pink Boutique to get those supplies. I live in San Antonio. Blessings to you on your upcoming surgery. PS. My surgery was a breeze. It's the cancer med that, on occasion, disrupts my life. Good Luck. Hugs.
