@hopeful33250 Yes thank you for asking! Bad abdominal pain all over but worse in the lower left side. I get very weak and dizzy in the morning to the point of almost feeling like I’m going to pass out. I had blood test done yesterday which show all my results are good. I also had an abscess that was attached to my bladder that had to be scraped and they are now thinking I possibly have a lot of nerve damage that’s going to take time to heal. Just very miserable right now.

@lilbear
I appreciate you sharing your specific symptoms. By sharing this, others who may have had a similar experience after surgery may offer some support and encouragement.

From your post, I don't see any pattern to the pain. For example, is it worse after meals, early or late in the day, etc.?

It does take time to recover from surgery. My first surgery was at age 53, and my second surgery was at age 55; there was a more prolonged recovery as I aged. Lots of considerations post-surgery.

Please continue to post about your progress. We are here to listen and support you.

@lilbear I am so sorry. I guess good news is it will heal and I am sad for you.
I had to process pain by thinking of a ticking clock.
every min closer to healing, every hour, closer to healing, every day closer to healing, every week closer to healing. etc.
During my surgery they had to stop everything to call in a urologist. They had to make sure that he looked at my ureters that scar tissue interfered with.
I was fortunate I had no issues. Eye opening on what scar tissue can do and how repeated episodes of diverticulitis can cause damage.
Hugs!
