@heyjoe415 hi, there.
I saw your post. I was wondering how did your hip replacement workout? I've met people that it doesn't work for and others that are successful and pain. Free. I've already had 3 back fusions and my age is 70. So I am really leery about more surgeries, but this pain is really bad.And I can't do anything. I'm getting a steroid injection.Appreciate any feedback from anyone.Thank you

Hi cps,

I'm sorry about your back. That is the one surgery (fusion) I don't want. I maintain a very strong core, and my surgeon says that's what is holding it all together. I imagine at some point I'll need S1-L5 fused, but not today.......

I'm, 70 and had my right hip replaced in March using an "anterior" incision. This is the best way as no muscles are cut.

I'm happy to say that after having both knees and my left shoulder replaced, hip replacement was the easiest. Please follow the advice of your Dr, but in my case everything went very well and recovery is fairly quick, given your overall condition. No need for that pain to continue!

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any more questions - and all the best to you!

Joe
