I have only been taking Anastrozole for 3 weeks. I have already started to have side effects like urinary incontinence which I had finally gotten under control before starting this. I also have very bad pain and stiffness at the base of my head and upper body where they meet each other. Had to take a muscle relaxer last night trying to free up the area. Not really helping so rubbing Aspercreme on and taking Advil. Has anyone else had this experience. Thinking I will stop this drug before things get worse. I'm more of a person who does natural remedies so looking to go that route even though my breast cancer with 100% Estrogen positive.

I was on it for 5 months and had to stop for similar reasons. My fingers were so stiff they won’t bend unless I forced them. The tendons in my upper arms were just as stiff. Quality of life is so important to me. My oncologist then put me on exemestane which was even worse. I’ve decided to enjoy each day to the fullest without the drugs.
