I have microscopic colitis. I just had a section of colon taken out that had bad diverticulitis flare ups all the time. It went well. I've had one constant problem with this for several years - nausea! Once when they thought it was a diverticulitis flare, the Dr. started me on cipro. When it was discovered that it was not diverticulitis, they told me to stop the med, but I didn't because it's the best I have ever felt - no nausea! Since the surgery 2 weeks ago, the nausea is still there - all the time. It gets better when I take an anti-nausea med., but always comes back. Anyone have any idea or suggestions?

Hi @lpockat - just wanted to let you know I moved your post here so you could chat with others already discussing microscopic colitis such as @rebe410 @jlmp @ferguson23 and others. Hoping they will have some ideas on taming the nausea.

lpockat - how has the recovery from your surgery gone?
