There’s so many stories of people I know who have fallen and broken a bone even after being on treatment for years, it really has to make you skeptical. Why take a chance with all the possible effects when ultimately it won’t help you from fracturing? Such a dilemma.

@mahonlye It truly is a dilemma, as the doctors generally put their faith in the meds, which do help some people…but the side effects can be quite costly, given that many people have other health issues and really cannot tolerate more strong meds…and docs often overdose…the same doses for people of all sizes !? Reliable advice on supplements would really be welcome !

@mahonlye People with healthy bones also fracture them. Look at all those healthy athletes who break bones.
Breaking a bone after being on bone meds is no proof they don’t work. Perhaps the break is less extensive than it would have been.
