My doctor tried to prescribe a less harmful antibiotic fosfomycon, I am 80 years old. Yet, Medicare and my supplement drug plan AARP United Health Care refused to fill the order and my pharmacy Fries Store gave me Ciprofaxen. I have AFib. I have high blood pressure. I have Spinal stenosis and I have poor leg circulation. How and what does one do to receive the proper medication a doctor orders? Everyone connected to money as I pay nearly $400. A month time 12 months makes these decisions over my medical doctor and my health. I am allergic to penicillin, Sulfa, and many others. I carry an epipen, I get hives, tongue swelling, difficult breathing, I have asthma, and much more and yet Medicare and AARP United control my antibiotics.

Try Mark Cuban’s Cost Plus Pharmacy or Trump RX. I’ve heard many people are getting medicine that they need at a much more reduced cost. My husband is now receiving a heart medicine for much less than it would cost at Walgreens or CVS. Call the manufacturer of the medicine that you need or look online and see if they have a program that allows you to get these medicines at a reduced cost based on your earnings. That is kind of my ritual that I go through for my husband‘s medicines as he is on many. Wish you the best.
