I had Laminectomy L3-L4 then discovered I had a few fractures in that area. Next came the Fusion L3-S1. That was a little over a year ago. Since then I have experienced pain in that fusion area, my waist line and buttock and hip area. So next came the SCS pain implant. That help some but the pain my but and hip still existed and was getting worse. Learning more this was my SI joint supposedly causing problems and after injections in both SI joints, the pain decreased for about a week and half, but came back with a vengeance. Pian Management now wants to do a cudal epidural in my tail bone area. My frustration keeps mounting because im not really for this possible next injection. My Neurosurgeon discussed a possible SI Fusion. Has anyone had this done and did it help????

@greg58 I’m dealing with something similar. I had L5-S1 fused along with a laminectomy in February in hopes of being and to do more with my young son. Well, that had had the opposite outcome. My lower back hurts even worse. It it’s my si joints. I am terrified of having another back surgery because this has been really hard on my life in every way possible and in my opinion didn’t work. (Yes every issue at that level was addressed and the hardware is fine) but I’m in so much pain now I can’t hardly do anything! I’m scared I’ll go through the b si fusion and end up worse. That’s why I’m on this is to see if anyone has a similar experience and has gone through the SI fusion and what their results are
