Update: My surgery on July 16th, 2025 was cancelled due to a UTI just 2 days away from the surgery date. I was relieved and disappointed. I am now scheduled for the surgery, November 24th for the posterior cervical laminectomy and fusion C5-6. I've been waiting and waiting and now it's going to happen soon and I sure hope it does . Here I am 5 months later getting this much needed surgery. It's enough to drive your crazy waiting for this for a 2nd time. I know that the doctors at UCSD are reputable. I get angry and frustrated and my brain works on overload at times. I want to take control of a uncontrollable situation. I'm losing muscle tone , loss of balance, sleep deprivation and pain. I hope and pray for a good outcome. Thank you everyone for your support and responding to my post. It really does help! I've been riding my stationary bike also just to try and get a little stronger. I'm up now at 4am with severe leg cramps! They are so intense you have to get up and walk around. I'm so sleep deprived it's ridiculous.
