If this were me I would save my questions for my doctor!!! I went through this so many times and got myself nuts thinking of all kind of things and when I went to the doctor things went very well and the doctor explained everything very carefully and thoroughly! If your doctor thought it was something that was going to grow very quickly he or she would not have you come back in six months. When you do go to your doctor make a list of questions to ask him. Having questions and making up every single question that I could think of it lowered my anxiety which I have a lot of!!! my very best wishes to you!!! it certainly can’t hurt to keep your glass half full and go with the flow!!!

I have a thyroid nodule measuring 1.3 with which measured TR 4 (4-6 pt): Moderately suspicious.
Composition: Mixed cystic solid (1 pt)
Echogenicity: Isoechoic (1 pt)
Taller than wide: No (0 pt)
Margins: Smooth (0 pt)
Echogenic foci: Punctate calcifications (3 pt), macrocalcifications (1 pt)
Comparison to prior exam: None
TR 4 (4 to 6 points)
No discrete left thyroid lobe nodules.
ISTHMUS: 0.3 cm AP.
I scheduled an appointment to get a biopsy. Even though my ultrasound said, "No discrete left thyroid lobe nodules" This time the ultrasound showed multiple nodules deep within the thyroid that were too close to the major vessels/carotid artery, they could not continue with the needle biopsy. I was told to come back in 6 months because the nodule is so small. I feel highly at risk for it growing into a big problem. I've just had a lot of medical issues going on recently and I just can't catch a break. Good luck with your biopsy love cats.
