They work! Also get a couple of suction handles that you can use at home (no such thing as too many handles) and you can take them on trips too.

@slowrunner1 Just one word of caution, in our old bathroom, we used the handles for years. One day I pulled and it let go. Realizing I had never cleaned and reattached the handles as the instructions said, each time I cleaned the bathroom, I removed and reattached them. Problem solved!
Let me tell you a funny story about suction handles.
10 years ago we bought a tiny seasonal home (400 sf) in the South. This was a financial stretch for us at the time, so spare change was scarce. There was a working microwave with a broken door handle, and no glues, screws, etc seemed feasible. We were at a local flea market, and someone was selling a suction handle for $5, so I bought it. It worked, and every time someone in my kitchen recognized what it was, they smiled. 2 years ago when we remodeled, we gave away the microwave to a neighbor, still working and still with the suction handle attached. We warned her that she would need to reattach it periodically.
