@daisy17, my plan is to say on Forteo. If I have to stop Forteo, I'll take risidronate for several months. I will likely always want to return to Forteo. I feel safe on this medication.

You should check with your doctor, but unless something has changed since my mother took Forteo about 10 years ago, you can only take Forteo for two years and then need to discontinue using it.
