Ok this is the update from my last post. After seeing a Neurologist, 2 Neurosurgeon physicians assistants, a neurosurgeon and my PCP I finally have an appointment to see the Neurosurgeon that specializes in cranial.
The last neurosurgeon that I saw said that based on the two sets of MRIs that I have that were taken a few weeks apart that it grew about half a millimeter. He said that since I’ve also failed every medication for the migraines and that I’m a carrier of Von Hipple Lindsey syndrome that he is recommending icy the cranial surgeon and get a biopsy. He said that after the biopsy is completed once they have the results they will determine if they are going to remove it or radiation therapy.
I’m still having the pain in my head, the absent seizures the partial seizures and random movements of my head neck and face. I also spoke with my PCP and he said it’s possible that some of those are side effects of the migraine medication or my mental health medication. He doesn’t want to make any changes so he is sending me over to the psychiatric clinic for a second opinion.
