Hope it is very little out of pocket for you. What a shame this drug is just not available at a reasonable price and on the formulary lists. Drug companies are very greedy. Keep us posted! I still have no idea which Part D to choose.

@irenea8 There's a conversation on NTMinfo.org which might interest you. Brinsupri insurance coverage, especially this comment which came from an insurance person:

"This is only true if you have a plan that has Brinsupri as a covered drug on the plan formulary (list of their covered drugs). I have checked, Blue Cross, Humana, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna and Wellcare. No one covers Brinsupri. If it is not on your plans formulary (list of their covered drugs) then you will continue to pay full price. You would have to have your doctor submit a request to your prescription drug plan to have Brinsupri added as an exception for you. The $2,100 drug maximum out of pocket only applies to drugs on the plan's formulary or added as an exception."
