Stopping ADT Scared and Anxiety Update

At 86 have had about three years of ADT - multiple drugs - with PSA undetectable . Stopped all med. Had two years where PSA stayed undetectable. Now it is back. Last reading was just 0.1, but after nearly five years of undetectable it as me worried. Next tests in Feb 2026.
If higher will have PET scan. Dr. has a plan for treatment based on what Feb tests show.
Yes, I forced him to tell me what death from prostate cancer would be like, and screaming in intense pain was the part I remember. So good to be scared, but God is good. and there is a plan for if the cancer comes out of remission.

My father died from prostate cancer. He had his teeth grow down and crowned without Novacaine. The last couple of weeks before he died, he was on so much morphine he couldn’t talk with anybody.
It’s been 14 years since my PSA rose after surgery. I’m still around and most people are along with me. Not that many die from prostate cancer these days, The treatments are excellent.
