@izzybizzy Thanks for your reply - I have osteoporosis as well. It seems that doctor's offices are relying heavily on NPs and PAs these days. My rheumatologist is very good, but took several months to get into. It looks like I will be seeing him as needed and his NP for management. I have only been on the Hydroxychloroquine for a few weeks, but I wondered whether it might have depressive side effects, so it's interesting to hear that you experienced that. I am trying to keep a record of any side effects just to be aware of how I am responding. I liked that the rheumatologist stressed that test results were helpful, but clinically it was clear I had inflammation so he was going to address that condition. I hope you are able to find a good team who will listen and respond well!
