I have used the Weisner clamp for a few years. As you mentioned, when it’s on, I really don’t feel it, unless it’s been on for more than a couple of hours. You do make sure to not wear it for more than two hours without repositioning it.

People have reported some serious problems from leaving a clamp on too long.

@jeffmarc Hi, I’ve had no ill effects wearing it 16-20 hours a day. It’s been three years now. I have just begun to alternate placement location (there are realistically only 2) after every void as a precaution. I don’t tighten for 100% effectiveness. Happy to need just one each day of a Tena Max Absorption pad (IMO the best on the market, blows Depends away).

Well, you see the guy a few messages up that had the ulcer, And I’ve heard of another person saying they had an infection from having it on for too long.

I don’t find it much use if I don’t tighten it down all the way, Especially at the gym.

I just don’t want to take a chance of leaving it on for many hours when they tell you to change it every two hours, And yes, there’s not many spots to put it in after prostate cancer surgery.

I have found that after about three hours it starts to hurt. Forgot to remove it A couple of times. I guess not tightening at 100% can resolve that problem.
