@busymomof7 what was your vitamin D level that they considered high? To my knowledge, the only side effects of a vitamin D level > 75 is what’s called milk alkali syndrome which can lead to kidney stones .

Levels over 150 can cause vitamin D toxicity which is very rare, usually from taking way too much vitamin D. It causes high blood calcium levels which is very serious. I’ve never seen it.

I did read about a case where an elderly woman misread directions and toook 50,000 IU per day for over a month. She had no adverse outcomes.

@laura1970 my most recent bloodwork read 88.6 and that is without taking any supplements. I read that it can cause fatigue and also the kidney stones as you stated. I struggle alot with fatigue and am trying to figure out if this is contributing to it.
