@sue417 hi I’m due to start prolia soon and am worried about all the side effects I’ve been reading about here so when I saw that you are taking reclast and I’m wondering if you’re having any side effects, I just want to make an informed decision as I have been suffering from leg pain for the last two years and not getting any answers so don’t want anything I take to make that problem worse as I seems that’s the main side effect with prolia I’d be very grateful for your feedback

@roughanne
Hi
So I started reclast in 2022 after my first spinal compression fracture and I've done it every year since with the exception of this year he tried that daily forteo and it was horrible so I just had my infusion actually last month. My pharmacist advised me to hydrate the day before so I do a drink called roar and coconut water and the morning of the injection I hydrate with another roar you can use Gatorade. I take a Tylenol in the morning of the infusion and I'm good I haven't had any major problems or side effects whatsoever. I think hydrating is the key. When I come home from my infusion I do another energy drink like Gatorade or roar I also take another tylenol at bedtime. I hope it works for you and you give it a shot.
