How long do side effects from statins last once you stop taking them?

I have days I feel good and then the next the pain is back.
For those that are good again, is that what you experienced?
Yesterday was good and I was able to take a walk and do a good amount of yard work. Today not so much.

@ctjoe7 I don’t know your age - I’m 67, and I think some aches and pains might be aging. However, when my back is a little cranky, I remember that when I was on statins, the pain was so much worse, and at times debilitating. And it was all over my body!
