Favorite saying
My wife and I were having a discussion and we came to a mutually satisfying agreement. I was reminded of this saying: “A good understanding is like the ‘whistle’ and the whistle always blows on time.” ( the “whistle” in reference here is the old fashioned factory whistle: the whistle starts the work day, blows for lunch, and blows again to end the work day, and the whistle is always on time)

Loved it
All the kind words in eulogy and wreaths in the funeral are meaningless. If you have read Tuesdays with Morrie,he asks people to tell him what they would tell as a eulogy.
As a cancer survivor I wish I could get all the flowers now and fortunately many friends bring it for me.
God bless you for your words

1 Reaction@pattymc My husband says this. I’d never heard it before. A good one.
Life is like riding a bicycle, to keep your balance, you must keep moving.
Take the good with the bad.
Come what may.
