Good evening @diverdown1
My, my: It is mind boggling how hearing or reading about another person's journey can right ones ship when it appears to be off course. Your determined to see your journey through, regardless the challenges you have faced. Helping others, especially non-human animals, I found so much peace and content in my experiences with canines and felines.
Human beings are allegedly more clever than non-humans, but to watch a three legged animal run and play and interact with people, or have a cat snuggle up to you for warmth and comfort, make more sense than many of the struggles we humans endure. Less words and more accepting actions along with kindness and understanding help everyone involved to move oward. Thanks for sharing. Joseph

@ I foster old dogs, that no one wants, for our local humane society. I now have a 16-year-old basset hound whose owner died.
He puts a smile on my face and everyone else who sees him. I believe he's still looking for her because he stops and stares at every older person we pass.
I share his story, so other people might help these old dogs no one wants.
