@lisalucier I went to the ER yesterday and was told I have a partial collapsed lung on the base of my lung. My oxygen levels wouldn't stay normal. I was told I need to o be on oxygen. Could a collapsed lung mimic asthma? Or r they two different symptoms?

Hi @jenniferguajardo - so sorry to hear your oxygen levels wouldn't stay normal and that you had to go to the ER.

Here is some information from Mayo Clinic on collapsed lung, or pneumothorax:

- Pneumothorax https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/pneumothorax/symptoms-causes/syc-20350367

Did the ER set you up with oxygen, then? I don't know specifically about whether a collapsed lung could mimic asthma, but a lung specialist, a pulmonologist, would. Do you have a follow-up appointment with a pulmonologist?
