Had surgery in 1987. Lost 100 lbs and then held at 190 for years. Started Monjaro and had significant result in health stats. Lower blood pressure, great A1C, from, 8.2 to 6.2 in a couple of months. I did not change my eating habits as after 35 years there was not much left to give up. I feel better, lost another 15 lbs and holding. Monjaro is good for me. I need to walk more and get off my duff now. All my best.

Thanks for this! I had lap-band surgery in 2006 and lost about 100 lbs, but have bounced around between 150-195 in the last 10 yrs. I got back in the gym 4 months ago and am very active 3x a week with a personal trainer, then burning 300 cals doing cardio. I am also post menopausal and eat about 1500 cals per day and I cannot seem to lose at all.
My sis started a glp-1 around July, does not work out and has lost about 30 lbs, closing in on her goal. She has a revision from lapband to the sleeve a few years back. So I have been thinking about adding a glp-1 but didn't know how it would work w a lapband, since my diet is already pretty restricted. I would like to lose 40-50 lbs.
