Peripheral Neuropathy can make your heels hurt too. Also, heel spurs can cause heel pain.

I have arthritis in the top and bottom of my feet and my heels hurt with that. It is a different pain than the Plantars Fasciitis.

I am curious as to what the Podiatrist think's it might be? Have you seen an Orthopedic Podiatrist or Orthopedic Doctor?

Thoughts: Do not go barefooted, Soak feet in Epsom salt, Wear good supportive shoes, Voltaren Gel up to 4 times a day on your feet with socks & roll a frozen bottle on the bottom of your foot & heels, no flip flops as this puts pressure on your heels when you walk. Also, low B12 can cause foot pain and other pain that mimics peripheral neuropathy (parasthesia)....have you had that checked?

I so empathize with painful feet and praying for you. Blessings....

Podiatrist stated the MRI showed acute plantar fasciitis. But like I said, this time it feels completely different. The heel pain never stops. I have tried everything you mentioned. Going back to podiatrist and to PT.
Maybe need a referral. I live in a small town.
Thanks 😘
