@covidstinks2023 As far as I know I am not a diabetic and I have had a lot of labs done and no one has told me that I am low on B12 or D3. I take a daily multiple vitamin that has all of those vitamins in it. I am having a really bad day today. I am taking 50mg of Lyrica in the morning and 50 at bedtime. The one I take at bedtime seems to help and I sleep fairly well but the morning dose only makes me drowsy and like a zombie but does not stop the burning pain. I got up burning this morning and when I do that my blood pressure goes way up. It was over 200 this morning and went down to 179 after taking two blood pressure meds. It does this all of the time. I have had 3 times that my skin burned so bad that I had to get in the shower and run cold water over me to cool my off. I am also having brain zaps. There will be a sound just like an electric zap the will go through my head. On one occasion it zapped then there was a bright flash of light on the other side of my head just like someone turned a small light bulb on then turned it off. I'm seeing my neurologist this coming week and I'm going to tell him that something has got to give. I can't keep on living like this.

@note8book I can't tolerate Gabapentin, but, it helps a lot of people with nerve pain.

Multivitamins do not normally give you enough B12 to make a difference if it is low. I was
amazed at how many things low B12 contribute too. I have to get weekly B12 injections.

Personally, I would question the doctor about the Lyrica. Did you have the brain zap
symptoms before going on Lyrica?

Praying for you to get some relief. Please update after your visit. Blessings & Prayers....

@note8book, I’d encourage your exploration of what is going on. Lots to consider, especially with your symptoms. If you take multivitamins, I’d check B6, as that can be problematic if too high.

I had sine burning when I first went on mega doses of B12 to treat my deficiency, but that stopped after a while. I hope you can get some relief.

Misery loves company, sorry to say. That whole thing you are going through sure does stink! I know my Covid did add to my misery, but that does not help. Sorry you are going through this and sincerely hope you get a solution!
I recently went to the Hospital twice because of the BP going over 200. Neither time did I get any relief! Once it went up to 230 in the Hospital with an experimental medication. There I had extreme painful shakes like never before with that new drug! No help after 8 hours there, so I left the Hospital with no answers! I am not diabetic either, have a normal diet and routine. I am just saying good luck, and you are not alone!
Can you adjust the strength of your meds? I just did that, and so far there is an improvement!
