@daisy17 Yes my drs scared me also- saying I would have to be glued back together if I fractured- I am 77 very active have osteoporosis -not horrible- and had terrible side effects from Prolia and actonel. Not on anything now. Eating calcium rich foods and taking Vitamin k. I heard algae cal is good.

@bocabird

Yeup...me too..
I hear stories: this person fractured making the bed.
this other person fractured lifting a cup of tea.
This other person fractured turning in bed.

Yes it does happen, but not to everyone.
I say enough is enough.
Stop scaring us into thinking drugs is the only answer.
It might be part of the answer, but there are other
things we ought to be doing.

Age and health conditions may keep us
from doing maxium movements and exercizes.
There must be more to handling osteoporosis
through diet and supplements.

It is challenging for all of us to get this information.

@bocabird hi, if you do AlgaeCal, start slowly, 1 cap for a few days, then add more…I did great on 2 a day, but 3 gave me loose stools..I’m vulnerable to some kinds of magnesium, maybe because I had CRC last year…just don’t rush it all at once, as older bodies need careful use of anything we take…that said , good luck !
