Taking 600 of lynparza. I would like to hear from others and their side effects or just how they are feeling.

@ginmarv What is the duration of time that you have been taking Lynparza? What side effects are you experiencing, if any? You mentioned in a previous Discussion that you are feeling anxious about your diagnosis. How are you feeling today?

Thank you for taking the time to respond to me. I have been taking Lynparza for 6 months. In the beginning I had no side effects except for being a little more tired. But in the last few months I am seeing more GI issues. Lots of gas (burping and flatulence) and loose bowels. Sometimes right after I eat.
I have IBS which doesn't help to decide where the problem lays. So I was just wandering if anybody else experienced what is happening right now. Definitely make going out and eating out difficult.

Yes I mentioned in another post that I was feeling anxious. I have done everything I could and now this unknown is very scary for me. I go every 3 months for scans. Trying hard to live every day and not think about it but sometimes this is more difficult to do.

I feel good and listen to my body.

Hope you are doing well. Again thank you.

@ginmav
I was Lynparza for 6 months and my side effects occurred when I first started taking it. After my first dose I broke out in an itchy red rash. I had to start taking Benadryl before I took the Lynparza. I had nausea for the first 6 weeks that was controlled by Zofran. I had a lot of stiffness and muscle aches along with fatigue. The nausea went away but the fatigue and stiff and aches never stopped. I never had the GI issues. It didn't end up working for me. I'm BRCA and HRD negative. Hang in there if it's working for you. My oncologist said it doesn't work on everybody but on those it does it can be a miracle.

Thank you for getting back to me. Sorry lynparza didn't work for you.
I escaped your symptoms except for the stiffness and fatigue. Can work with these if lynparza is helping me.
GI issues another thing. Will see what scan reveals in a week and discuss with oncologist or my GI doc.

Good luck to us all.
