@meuniesu - how did you find a surgeon to do just the patella?? I have OA in patella but good everywhere else in the knee (well, also no meniscus) however, several surgeons (the one I chose is the most popular in South Orange County, California), and he says I only need a partial, but like most all knee surgeons, says I'll need a total at some point, and at 71 years old, should do a full..UGH!

@catheem I have had both knees replaced and am experiencing severe knee cap pain. I am going to a surgeon in south Orange County CA next week and am hoping to resolve patella or patellar tendon issue. Seems at this stage a total may be in your best interest. The surgical procedures are better for totals now that they do the jiffy knee ( if possible)
