@lisalucier Thanks for asking bc I was actually going to ask about other's side effects. Yesterday I experienced severe stomach cramps and vomited all day. Had regular bowell movement. Called Dr office who suggested taking pepto bismol and sipping room temp water with electrolytes. If didn't subside, go to emergency room and stop mounjaro. I've read that pancreatic can occur. It's hard for me to determine if this was food poisoning bc regrettably, I ate a fast food burger on Tuesday, or side effects from Mounjaro. Managed to get plenty of sleep. While vomiting has stopped, I'm still experiencing stomach cramps, but not as severe. Calling back Dr office soon. Anyone with experience same stomach problems? Thank you.

@beachy - I've had both of those side effects when I was on semaglutide (Wegovy). Rather awful.

Taking medicine to counteract the effects of another medicine is kinda crazy, admittedly. However, as I was determined to go on with my weight loss shots, my doctor, though also a little hesitant for the same reason, prescribed: hycosamine for the cramping and prochlorperazine for the nausea. These helped a lot.

I also used ginger ale and ginger lozenges sometimes for nausea. My husband also had me put "barf bags" in all our vehicles, cause sometimes nausea would come on and progress to vomiting in a flash.

Have you gotten to talk to your doctor's office further this morning about your side effects?
