Hi Daveslp - I am in the Mayo "Art of SABR" trial. I liked the idea of something that used more precision in delivering the radiation but was admittedly uncertain about only needing two SBRT treatments (i.e., fractions) to be effective.

So I did a little snooping around and found other highly reputable prostate cancer hospitals (e.g., New York University Langone Health) that talked about their own similar SBRT two fraction treatment type of clinical trial. That impressed me enough to enroll into the Art of SABR trial.

A few days after my enrollment, however, I was randomized into the five fraction, standard treatment "control" arm of the study. Aw well...
