@chile3 As one of the techs told me, the clinic books too many back-to-back appointments in a day, then when one little glitch occurs, the delays just ripple out. My limit for a “holding pattern” is 30 minutes, and that requires a dash from the table to the restroom. So far, I haven’t exceeded the limit, but the day will likely come. I only got booted from the table once, and that was on day 2 when I had too much gas in my rectum.
Also, I stocked up early on both Gas X and Imodium, just in case I needed them. No need for the later yet, but I have been hitting the Gas X this week.
I try to stay focused on the day in front of me, and keep to a regiment of diet, exercise and sleep. Even with that, it’s stressful.
@melvinw Funny you mention the stress factor. Looking back, juggling the whole fiber/diet/gas - and getting the timing just right - thing was one of the most stressful things I’ve ever done.
It came very easy to some, but not to me with some already challenging GI issues…Thank Goodness for ‘Eye of the Tiger’ and other inspirational ROCKY themed music which helped me keep my game face on…Best,
Phil
