Well my PCP that I had 9 years ago labeled my lump as a swollen saliva gland as did the ENT that he sent me to…Thank God my dentist was more thorough and diagnosed it as cancer…Yup, I was stage IV base of tongue/throat cancer!
You need to get into a specialist and get your throat scoped ASAP.
My voice started changing, swallowing food became difficult and my ear was extremely painful for months before the lump appeared.
