Sorry, I never mention the name of any medication I take for the simple reason that different bodies react differently to different medications. Moreover, I never want anyone telling me “you said so or so”. I’m sorry. All I do with everyone is tell what’s out there without naming and strongly suggest they connect with their primary care physician who should know their full medical history and what may or may not work keeping in mind the side effects. If someone is not satisfied with their doctor, they should think about changing her or him.
Again, I apologize for not mentioning the name of the non statin cholesterol medication. And by the way, this past February, my primary care physician told me to completely stop all medications and supplements and only keep taking the low dose blood pressure medication and the non statin cholesterol medication. She is a great doctor who is quite aware of my medical history.
Another suggestion is you might wish to try a google search for non statin cholesterol medications and see what you may find online.
