Hi, i had Gamma Knife Surgery last March for my 3.8 Acoustic Neuroma. Days after i have terrible imbalance, half of my face numb and had this burnt tongue feeling which i think makes my food taste intense and bad. As months went by now my imbalance has greatly improved (not using a cane anymore). The numbness in my face has decreased about half the part of my face. The burnt sensation decreased too but food taste still intense.
I guess the key is to be patient to recovery. And be grateful your alive. I just hope and pray things will be better soon.
