My self and my daughters husband and sons noticed a problem with my wife who is now 80 about 3 years ago and it took me a year to convince my wife to see our doctor. She was referred to a memory clinic and a diagnosis of Altzeimers was confirmed. She has never really accepted this because she thought we were all saying she was stupid but of course we were not. Her memory gets worse every day but she still has her sense of humour. i have stopped her from driving which was not easy. She goes line dancing twice a week which she really enjoys how long that will continue I do not know. From what I read on these forums I have the worst to come. I will have to learn a lot more patience it seems. Thanks to those who have responded to previous comments I have left. Sivad
