There is a scam showing up on FB involving some treatment for neuropathy. Sam Elliot and Clint Eastwood sing the praises of this stuff. Then some "doctor", Barbara O'Neill, from Australia explains the how's and the why's. Only $39. Profit is not their motive. Now, I violated my #1 rule...always do an online search of whatever product you are looking into. I was in really bad pain late in the afternoon looking at FB. When this ad came on, all reason flew out the window. All I could think was, "Maybe this will actually help my pain. Thirty-nine bucks isn't too much to lose if it doesn't work". I whipped out my card and put in an order for one bottle. Well, surprise, surprise when my credit card rejected the bill for $239! Fortunately, I was able to decline it and then had to get a new card so they couldn't recharge. A few hours later some gal called and wanted to know if I was still interested in ordering some of this miracle cure. Ha, ha! The nerve.
Remember, none of these miracle cures work! There is no cure for neuropathy, NONE! Don't order anything without doing extensive research. Save yourself pain and money.

I was so desperate that I ordered that stuff. I must tell you I have noticed a wee bit more feeling in my cement embedded toes. Anything to give myself some hope. I am desperate.
All my Cardiologists, PT's, Neurologists and Vascular Surgeons give me that nod with their
eyes looking down and head shaking left to right... No Cure for Neuropathy, but I will take
the stuff and hopefully something will stop the progress of this dredful situation which is
now progressing to the point where I am walking very slowly and more concerned than ever about balance. I wonder if I will end up in some sort of a battery operated vehicle on wheels
one of these days in the not too distant future.
I also wonder if my Left Bundle Branch Block and Right A Block in the Heart have something to do with the leg pain, muscle cramps and Periferal Neuropathy. Life gets complicated as
we age. I am so thankful for the good days. I am also thankful I travelled extensively after retirement. I have those beautiful memories to look back and treasure when the pain starts to distract.
