@izziesue you made the right decision! That doctor only knows what she knows and doesn’t seem interested to learning new things or even opening her mind to the possibility that what you asked for had merit. I would have done just what you did.

Hi, thanks for the information, very helpful. It’s unfortunate that some doctors sometimes confidently make recommendations on a medical course of action without much research or information. It’s really important to see someone with osteoporosis expertise.

@izziesue What a terrible doctor. The point of doing the tests along the way is to see if the medication is working! Why wait two years?? Unfortunately, not every endocrinologist is skilled for treating osteoporosis. I've said it before: the biggest challenge is finding a competent doctor.
