I have Blue Shield Medicare Supplement Plan Hi F, the high deductible ppo. The plan leaves me free of "preferred provider" limitations - I see doctors in Providence, Sutter and UCSF with no problem. Annual deductible is $2,870. The last year that I had a job I was 65, and my employer paid for the plan that covers everything with no deductible, but that got to be too expensive after I'd retired ($508 vs $110 monthly fee now that I'm 77).
