@maxieg good luck with your new glasses. I'm sure others in this thread will be interested in hearing how they work for you regarding photosensitivity and migraine.

Graded exposure therapy is a good option towards helping desensitize photophobia. It's retraining your brain to not react in such a hypersensitive state by gradually increasing light tolerance. It greatly helps if light is a migraine trigger.

@rwinney, thank you. I will report on the my glasses. They should be ready this week. I will research the graded exposure therapy. Thank you!! It’s difficult to go shopping with those fluorescent lights, especially if they are flickering!!

hi @rwinney,
Just wanted to follow up on the FL 14 lenses.
The glasses I ordered with the
specially tinted lenses for migraine sufferers did not work for me. I tried them on when I went to pick them up.
Immediately I knew I could not manage them. They made my head feel awful. I knew for sure that I would never try even one more time.
I sent them back and ordered my usual bifocal lenses. Clear at the top, reading prescription at the bottom.
The glasses evidently must help many folks. I was simply not willing to give it another try.
