I have had UC for 35years and dealing with GERD for about 20. I also had colon cancer which required multiple bowel resections and caused a myriad of other issues. The cancer was in 2019. I have consistently woken up with nausea and take zofran almost every day. It may be a symptom of reflux but I just deal with it. Some days it lasts all day, other days not so much. It depends a lot on how clean my diet is. I don’t have a gall bladder anymore.
Dexilant helped a lot with reflux, but insurance doesn’t want to pay for it so I take a generic
I have random chest pains at times, but strongly feel it’s related to my anxiety. Maybe ask for a script for zofran ?

I wonder would you have Hiatus Hernia also? It may be worth checking. They can diagnose it with a Gastroscopy.
