@mandie4712, If you were to take it, you probably would have to take it during the day. Then, when you had to urinate more at first after the shot, your husband would be awake to help you. There is no way to know if you would have other side effects when awake. I had dizziness and nausea so took the shot at bedtime and stayed on half a dose. Also, you could try it once to see, maybe not now but some time in the future. There are 8 clicks on the pen and you could just try 2 clicks at first. It definitely would be out of your system within 24 hours. I had good results on just 4 clicks, half a dose.

@drsuefowler Is a sudden urge to empty bladder after the injection or not plus how long after injection did the bladder and nausea etc last. Some people say for about an hour others say all day so it’s confusing. If I take it I’d definitely start on a low dose.
