Thanks for letting me know. There’s no way I can get up for a wee as I’m stuck in bed. I think I’m going to have to refuse the injections and take my chances. If I was able bodied I’d give them a try but I’m not able to walk at all so using the toilet is out of the question in the night and can’t keep waking up my husband.

@mandie4712, If you were to take it, you probably would have to take it during the day. Then, when you had to urinate more at first after the shot, your husband would be awake to help you. There is no way to know if you would have other side effects when awake. I had dizziness and nausea so took the shot at bedtime and stayed on half a dose. Also, you could try it once to see, maybe not now but some time in the future. There are 8 clicks on the pen and you could just try 2 clicks at first. It definitely would be out of your system within 24 hours. I had good results on just 4 clicks, half a dose.
