When you see this statement from a urine culture, it usually indicates that there are multiple types of bacteria present, with no one of those being "more present" than another. Did you recently see this reporting for a culture done on your urine? What was the reason your doctors did the culture in the first place?

2 ReactionsI have been dealing with burning 'Down there' since Nov. 4th. I have seen 8 different Dr/ PA's. I was referred to a urogynecologist and saw him last week. I only have 1 kidney and am state 3. This doctor was finally able to give me a diagnosis of Lichen Sclerosus. He is the doctor that ordered the urine culture.

3 ReactionsWhat does 5000 colonies mixed urogenital flora mean
Mixed flora was also the result in my urinalysis . They did not do a culture . I have a fistula between colon and bladder and surely bacteria due to that . Not easy to get an actual culture in my experience.

You would need to get the results explained to you by your doctor, please. The leukocyte esterase could be an indicator of inflammation, but further consideration would be warranted to figure out what kind of inflammation source. That is best left to your doctor. Do you plan to see them soon?
