To use or Not to Use?
I have been told that storms won't hurt my CPAP (sleep apnea) machine. Any one use one during storms?? Don't know what to do otherwise, (in Southern Queensland Australia summer is the storm season).

I've been using a CPAP for about 25 years.
Rain, shine, hail, wind, snow... through everything except a power outage, of course.
I've never had a problem with the machine, though sometimes thunder wakes me up.
@scottrl had a storm last night didnt use it in case of issues ack I am feeling the difference today.
Pretty much the same comment as Scott R.L. I've used a CPAP machine for years come rain, thunderstorms or even hurricane. I guess the worst that can happen is the power might go out and shut off the machine. As long as your home is properly grounded, I don't see a problem.
@wilmslow I just wondered about the lights flickering in a storm , going off then on again had that happen
I'm not an electrician, but living in an area of the country that sees a lot of storms, I know that we usually see that when the local power grid is having problems. You can always install a surge protector to safeguard your CPAP machine.
